I believe the problems with this page have been addressed and I can now remove the info-box saying it's still an issue. Any objections? Internet Informant (talk) 17:04, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
Who?
edithow exactly can that be included when no acceptable media source other than primary sources from Youtube videos themselves are the only ones citing that "Many YouTubers of the Fandom Menace have denied"?
I can give a small list of people often attacked for being a part of "The Fandom Menace" by media as being the cause for Tran leaving social media, but other people would have to include then as "verifiable sources" that are "non-primary sources" somehow to comply with "Wikipedia Policy":
MechaRandom42
Geeks & Gamers
Nerdrotic
Overlord DVD
ComicArtistPro Secrets (Ethan Van Sciver)
Merry Mayhem
That Star Wars Girl
WCBS
Mindless Entertainment
John Talks
i have no clue how to add "lists" to Wikipedia in any format for something like this. shadzar-talk 23:24, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
- World Class Bullshitters
The Umbrella Guy
Mr Robot Head
Thor Skywalker
Film Theory
- World Class Bullshitters
All of these above criticize the current sequel trilogy (Disney Star Wars & Cannon), and in case of Film Theory he is 100 % apolitical and very kind, but still the media/people close to Disney blame him for the Fandom Backslash. I think they deserves mention.Mr.User200 (talk) 22:15, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
- None of these nameless idiots are notable enough to deserve even the slightest mention. Reliable sources reporting on their actions as a group are the only things noteworthy about them. 46.97.170.78 (talk) 09:14, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
What other areas would help improve this article in a way that would make it safe from being deleted?
editI saw the notice on the article and was rather surprised by the first thing I saw on the page. Surely there's more stuff we can include in this that proves the relevance the 'Star Wars fandom' has given light to vocal fan communities on the internet (both ironic and non-ironic followings)? Star Wars is an important cultural milestone for Earth, and it's also inherited a lot of unintentional controversy, ranging from film preservation qualms to internet remix culture that's defined Star Wars' image and endurance within the pop-cultural world stage. Thought this deserved some addressing before this article is deleted outright. Internet Informant (talk) 14:30, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
- There already is an article on the cultural impact of Star Wars. And judging by the history, and the chuds who keep re-inserting the exactsame false claims, this page here was originally made with the sole purpose of pushing a right wing agenda. It needs to be deleted. Period. 46.97.170.78 (talk) 09:25, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
