Uniforms
editSo, it's obvious that some students dislike the uniform policy. Totally, understandable, but if you want the views included in Wikipedia, they have to come from reliable secondary sources like a local newspaper article or newscast about student reactions to the policy, even a school newspaper article might do (see Wikipedia Policy on Reliable Sources). Though Wikipedia seeks to include all notable points of view about a subject, that is limited to include only opinions that have made it through a certain vetting process. Also, no matter what the source, criticisms have to be presented as if they aren't personally held by Wikipedia; instead, write simply to describe like "Some students have criticized the uniform policy for being..." rather than "Uniforms are stupid" (this is called using a neutral point of view). If you want more info about Wikipedia policies, check out the Help page. 71.224.206.164 (talk) 01:53, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
Catholic Institute
editThe article states that the Catholic Institute was the predecessor institution or was folded into St. Edward's (I'm not sure which is intended), but then according to the rugger section, the team goes to the C.I. after matches. This needs to be clarified. Yngvadottir (talk) 02:27, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
I want to agree with Yngvadottir in that I found the same section confusing. That commentator's remarks were posted in 2010, yet no revision for the purposes of clarification has been added. We have to look elsewhere for clearer information on the identity of and exact relationship between the C.I. and St Edward's. More precise compositional articulation relating to the existence of two parallel institutions and their merger may be at the heart of the problem.
