Chemical structure

edit

I am unsure as to the accuracy of the image provided. The erythorbic acid page shows both chiral locations to be R chiral while in the image for sodium erythorbate shows one as R and the second as L. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.79.166.77 (talk) 12:00, 19 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

The chemical structure File:Sodium erythorbate.png appears to be correct to me and matches the structures given at the links in the infobox (Common Chemistry, PubChem, Chemspider, and ChEBI). All display the correct R,R stereochemistry. The image file may appear to be different than File:D-Erythorbic acid.svg because the side chain is oriented differently, but the stereochemistry is the same. -- Ed (Edgar181) 12:23, 19 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
