Article
editI think that since there is so much confusion and reference lacking material, we should just create a page called Unconfirmed Back To Basics Third Single or Back To Basics Third Single or something of the sort. There we can sort out all the rumors and facts. We could keep it until the third single is confirmed. Then people would stop getting the wrong idea about it. And people might just stop making up rumors, and on this page they could just spill their guts out without it being a problem. agree?
Third or Fourth Single
editnothing yet is confirm... but rumors insist that sdb is the third and candyman is 4th... hurt is losing its strength and is stuck at number 21 on hot 100... back to basics was out in united world chart... a follow up single is needed...
Stop creating this article!
editIf you're going to create an article about "Slow Down Baby", at least make it contain info about the song in general; the sound, genre, samples and credits. But do NOT create an article about it if all you're going to write is: "Slow Down Baby is the possible fourth single from Back to Basics. Rumours say so."
Honestly, we have no idea what the fourth single is going to be. Most songs on the album have single potential and one could make a case for almost all the tracks. ("Oh Mother" for example, just because it was promoted in the Back to Basics-special on MTV.) So stop trying to predict it.
Deleting..
editI'm just going to continue to delete all information on the page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Los besos (talk • contribs) 00:17, 14 January 2007 (UTC).

MUSIC VIDEO
editis there any?
- I think they will release a video because there has been a speculation on the making of the vid. Maybe release early Aug or during the official release of the song. BritandBeyonce 10:37, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- I'm tired waiting for the Video. Australian folks, did Christina released a video along with the physical release of the single? BritandBeyonce 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- Not that I know of. Nothing in the media, nothing on music tv shows (I think) — *H¡ρρ¡ ¡ρρ¡ 10:19, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

another sample?
editI thought that the song also included a sampling of EMPD's Rampage feat. LL Cool J. It's actually quite obvious that she took sampling from this, yet it is not mentioned anywhere?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.0.72.5 (talk) 01:45, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
"The song garnered positive reviews from music critics, many of whom cited it as a standout track on Back to Basics. Critics also praised its blend of old and modern R&B influences, as well as Aguilera's vocal performance."
We do not have a reliable source stating that the song's reviews were positive. We have several reviews that have been interpreted as "positive" and combined to a universal statement about "reviews from music critics".
"Many" is a weasel word. Critics praised something? {{Who}} would these "critics" be?
Yes, the essay Wikipedia:What SYNTH is not says lots of things. The policy says "Do not combine material from multiple sources to reach or imply a conclusion not explicitly stated by any of the sources." The individual reviews are multiple sources. That the song received "positive" (or generally/mostly/universally positive/mixed-to-positive/mixed/average/mixed-to-negative/negative or anything else) is a conclusion not explicitly stated by a source. - SummerPhDv2.0 17:10, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
