editi need to know the land area of the peninsula use county boundaries. counties are the subdivisions of chinese provinces. put it in miles and kilometers i already found out a few weeks ago that mekong river delta of veitnam was 15,000 squre miles i know that shandong penn is bigger than mekong i just dont know how much.
Garbled Sentence
editThis sentence needs a cleanup: "Xu Fu a man from Qi was sent by the Qin emperor to find immortality near the sea of Japan he had many provisions and men even children but he disappeared he is a famous navigator sorcerer and alchemist depicted in legend and narratives in China and Japan to have become a immortal and from this it is quoted in theater and in verse."
I can't quite sort out what is meant. It sounds like the intent is to say: "Xu Fu a man from Qi was sent by the Qin emperor to find immortality near the Sea of Japan. He was sent with many provisions and men, but he disappeared while on his expedition. He is a famous navigator, sorcerer, and alchemist depicted in legends and narratives in both China and Japan. In these narratives, he is said to have become immortal."
However, could somebody else put eyes on this to see if I got it right? I'm worried that I'm missing something due to (1) not having access to the original translation and (2) neither reading nor speaking any dialect of Chinese. 98.166.133.174 (talk) 20:47, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
