Origin of the name
editRegarding the origin of the colonial name, my guess is that it reflects the industrial city of Bochum in Westphalia in Germany and that the connection to the biblical name is secondary. Note that the Limpopo town has a suburb named Westphalia. Further the hospital is most probably named after the wife of German missionary Karl Franz, Helene. Therefore not Helene and Franz, but Franz seems to be the surname. My guess is that they originated from Bochum. anradt 29 November 2017 —Preceding undated comment added 14:19, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
