Dirk Diggler?

edit

I've heard somewhere that the character "Dirk Diggler" from the movie Boogie Nights was based on O'Hara. Does anyone have any reliable information on this? -- OlEnglish (Talk) 20:55, 30 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

The article lead should appropriately clarify Mr. O'Hara's real and chosen names. 69.105.109.37 (talk) 06:40, 8 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Publishing Projects: Steam, Wilde

edit

I find it very remiss that this article does not mention O'Hara's turn at publisher of gay magazines, Steam and Wilde. I'm attempting to link from another article about a contributor, but credence would help if this article mentioned O'Hara's ambitions and efforts towards publishing. Steam had quite a long run as a journalistic review of public sex in the US, while Wilde managed only a short run as a "literary" color glossy. These were projects he took on towards the end of his life. I can't be the only person who knows this or cares.Volpane (talk) 22:47, 23 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
