Notes
editWhat city, country is this place in? Is it a stadium? --Randolph 06:23, 8 May 2005 (UTC)
When did the name change?
editDoes anyone know when the arena was renamed Credit Union Centre? 23skidoo 01:44, 12 August 2005 (UTC)
- I'm gonna say late 2003 early 2004. A call to the city or the CUC will should result in a quick answer. Sven Erixon 17:52, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
May 30, 2004, I beleive the name was officially changed. the name change was anncounced a week earlier or so. Aerosmith was the last event to be played there, and as I recall it was on the 24-28. Plasma Twa 2 06:44, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
Trivia
editDoes anyone know the largest crowds attracted to the CUC? What I mean is the largest crowd for a basketball game, concert and other types of events. I added last night's Flames/Panthers game as the largest hockey crowd, but I'd like to see the largest crowds for other types of events too. Fair use rationale for Image:CreditUnionCentrelogo.gif
editImage:CreditUnionCentrelogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Major Events Section
editI have reduced the number of bands listed under major events. It is unnecessary to have every act listed. I believe I have shown a representative amount from the various genres who have played at Credit Union Centre. So please refrain from adding every little band who appears there. If you need to make a list create the page List of Bands Who Have Performed at Credit Union Centre page and go nuts adding every concert that occurs there.
