Nom de Plume
editWhile I have seen nothing to indicate this, I assume Ms Babb's nom de plume was taken from the name of the husband of the plaintiff in the landmark case Perez v Sharp. Hushpuckena (talk) 02:17, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

Discrepancies with Iris Dunkle's biography
editRobert Ito's Oct. 18 2024 article in the NYT, "She Shared Her Notes with John Steinbeck. It was Her Novel’s Undoing," is a review of Iris Dunkle's Riding Like the Wind: The Life of Sanora Babb. Drawing from the biography, that will provide a great deal more for this wiki article, he says among other things that Babb let Steinbeck read her notes. 2A02:A467:FCA2:1:39C3:4FEE:5116:1F66 (talk) 03:41, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
