This is a stub entry which demands additional work; Illustrations of Salabhanjika from various sculptural schools (Bharhut, Sanchi, Mathura, and so on) should be included. A discussion of Salabhanjika in literature should be included; A bibliography needs to be included, and so on. Herlands (talk) 22:11, 19 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Name of the Artists

edit

The origin of these Deities are understandable and relatable, One thing that interests me and make one curious is that who are the artists who had portrayed these deities in physical forms. What is their intuition behind it and how they brought these conceptions into reality. I have tried to find out who the artists could be behind the portrayal of these statues but was unable to do so. My assumption behind the lack of the artists’ name could be the sacredness of these deities, and the contributors might not want their name to be made public. Any further information would be very helpful. 120.21.165.231 (talk) 11:52, 20 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
