This article is elliptic. There have been significant changes in strategy, location and hosts. None of it is mentioned. Parts of the article are literal quotes of the website of the current hosts (?). In terms of strategy, the change of the television market thruout the last ten or so years should be reflected. The rose d'or was initiated in the "bronze age" of television, when there were nothing but public broadcasters and a pool of tv professionals who spoke the common European language of the noble few who represented television creation. Meanwhile, these originators are marginalized, as is (obviously) the festival in its traditional environment.

Fault in article?

edit

I'm not gonna edit anything but I'm pretty certain about one huge mistake (typical Britisch arrogance?). "Test the nation" has been broadcasted by many stations in many countries but the format is from the Netherlands. The first station which broadcasted this program is BNN (Dutch station, the format has been developed by Reinout Oerlemans. There's no need for your xenophobia - a little less offensiveness would be helpful. 80.0.213.249 (talk) 00:09, 7 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
