Electorates

edit

The article gives the following seats he represented:

Wilson [1] gives the following dates:

  • Caversham - 20.8.75 to 6.12.75
  • City of Dunedin East - 20.12.75 to 23.6.79 (resigned) & 22.7.84 to 15.7.87 (defeated)
  • Inangagua - 8.6.93 to 8.11.93 Li = Liberal
  • City of Wellington - 28.11.93 to 10.2.98 (resigned) NB: Con/96 (not Li.) Hugo999 (talk) 00:58, 29 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Caversham was at a by-election, but Dunedin East (1875-76 general election) should probably be from 28.12.75 like Edward Stafford, not 20.12.75 Hugo999 (talk) 01:12, 29 July 2010 (UTC) Also; Wilson has Dunedin East as a single-member electorate, represented by Stout (1875-79) then Green (1881-84); but why a gap from 1879 to 1881? Ok, Stout did not represent Dunedin East in 1875–79, but Dunedin (New Zealand electorate). See Talk:Dunedin East for an in-depth look into this issue. Schwede66 09:03, 1 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
