2022 Rivne missile strikes → Bombing of Rivne (2022–present) – To fix title format as other similar articles per WP:CONSISTENT. ALT title: Airstrikes on Rivne (2022–present). Teterev53 (talk) 19:16, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
- Strong support "Bombing of *city*", strongly oppose "airstrikes on *city*". 90.255.19.247 (talk) 07:31, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
- Oppose, considering the WP:CRITERION of precision. The subject includes missile, rocket, and suicide drone strikes. Not bombing, which is the use of aerial bombs, mortar bombs, or perhaps planted time bombs and such. In my understanding, air strikes are strikes from manned aviation or maybe from strike drones, not munitions launched from the ground or seagoing vessels. —Michael Z. 15:10, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
- Per your opinion, what wording is correct? It doesn't matter for me, bombing or airstrikes or something else. But all 12 similar articles from airstrikes category should have same title format per WP:CONSISTENT. Teterev53 (talk) 22:13, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
- Well, Rivne strikes (2022–present) or Rivne attacks (2022–present) for the broadest cases. Bombing, airstrikes, shelling, drone strikes, &c., should be used when appropriate. In the WP:CRITERIA, precision comes before consistency. —Michael Z. 23:40, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
