editRiordan is at the top of the Arizona Divide on the BNSF Railway. This summit has been in place since the original line was built through in August 1882. During steam locomotive operation a wye track was used to turn steam helpers operating between Angell and Riordan. The name Riordan is from the founders of the Arizona Lumber and Timber Company in Flagstaff. --SSW9389 (talk) 20:19, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
