Red Box
editIs it work mentioning the Red Box rumour? (It was a rumoured box that had a certain level of compatability with Windows. There's some speculation it may be dusted off and brought into MacOS X)
It was a rummor... There are no screen shots and little plans to make it although yellow box could be worth mentioning.
It was a widely believed rummor - although no product was made. Although it was a widely succesful rummer and should be mentionted as it generated a great deal of interest in rhapsody.--Frozenport (talk) 05:27, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- A little digging around the internet produced the following: Mac OS Rhapsody DR1, DR2 Intel (x86) & PPC, Year released 1998. This may have been what caused the yellow box rumors.--174.99.238.22 (talk) 12:32, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Article moved
editI'm not exactly crazy about this move solely for the sake of consistency, but if it's going to be "Apple Rhapsody," can we at least get rid of the "(operating system)" now?MFNickster 22:08, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'd prefer to get rid of the "Apple" myself. Was there a discussion on this that I missed? Maury 16:06, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- Nope. User:Rwwww boldly moved the article where it had never been moved before. MFNickster 18:13, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, well any objections to moving it to "Rhapsody (operating system)"? This is the style for all of the related-content articles, and it reads better too (IMHO). Maury 21:38, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
No objections reported, moving... Maury 13:21, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- Moved, most inbound links moved to avoid redirs though (OS). Notify me if you find any dangling ones! Maury 13:34, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- Roger that. MFNickster 13:54, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
The latest stable version info in the infobox is broken. The version number is coming from the Rhapsody music service, and not the values given for Rhapsody OS. Lavenderbunny (talk) 21:15, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Pictures
editAll of the pictures, or a reduced-resolution copy of them, would clearly have been fair use. WHAT IS WITH THE MASS DELETION OF EVERY PICTURE ON WIKIPEDIA? The destruction of content is a mortal sin; this one doubly so. FAIR USE! -128.61.83.190 (talk) 14:56, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
Screenshot
editThere is a screenshot that has been commented out. What happened? Should it be commented out? Dullbananas (talk) 20:59, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
- I don't know why it was commented out, but the file to which it referred no longer exists, so uncommenting it just gives you some text in red. I removed the screenshot parameter. Guy Harris (talk) 21:11, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
