Shadow Foreign Secretary
editWas he sacked from the shadow cabinet on 11 April 1976 or 19 November 1976? The article contradicts itself. DancesWithGrues (talk) 00:24, 2 November 2016 (UTC)

Shadow Foreign Secretary date of appointment in 1975
editI started a discussion relevant to this article at Talk:Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs. Basically I think the date given of 11 February 1975 for Maudling replacing Geoffrey Rippon as Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs is wrong and the change cannot have occurred before 12 February 1975.
