Hardie Williamson and the dimple beer mug

edit

There is no evidence Hardie Williamson invented the dimple beer mug, and indeed an article in Design magazine in 1990 specifically says the inventor of the dimple is unknown. It was, in any case, invented in 1938, at Ravenhead, before Hardie Williamson worked for the company. I have therefore removed that reference. He did, however, invent the Nonik beer glass (Miller'as 20th Century Glass p129) --Zythophile (talk) 22:10, 12 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

End of Ravenhead

edit

The article is currently very sketchy about the decline and eventual end of this once iconic British company. Can anyone add more info? --Ef80 (talk) 19:08, 12 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Lack of sources

edit

Many sources are lacking. For instance in July 2013 the user Psychomus added a lot of stuff with no backup for it. (For instance, "in 1972... the company name changed to The Ravenhead Company Ltd." I can't find any backup for that particular date.
