The linked essay pretty much says it all. I disagree with Neelix's assertion that "That the sources primarily deal with the play does not invalidate them as sources on the event." In the same way that the Apollo 13 article is not based on sources discussing the film, facts about the event should be cited to sources dealing directly with it (of which there already are plenty enough), not those making passing mention with focus on the play.
Looking further, if the truck was travelling from Ranong to Phuket, it's obvious that the Malaysia part is a misrepresentation of fact, another reason why such sources should not be relied on. The five remaining sources are perfectly adequate to support the facts mentioned in the article. --202.28.181.200 (talk) 08:22, 27 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Was there any human trafficking really?
We haw two phuket links here. First don't work. Second PhuketWan, tells us about refugees, who go by their own will or at least there are no any indication that those people were human trafficked for the purpose of sexual slavery, forced labor, etc. Other links are third party interpretations and even movie reviews.
