Suggestion to edit the Rayman series template.

The Raving Rabbids series no longer belong to the Rayman Series, in fact, Rayman appeared only in the three first Rabbids games, mostly with a secondary role, and a lot of Rabbids titles without Rayman are either released or in developement since then. Besides, new Rayman games without Rabbids have been made: Rayman Origins, Jungle Run and Legends. Since Rayman and Rabbids series are related anymore, I suggest to create a template with the Rabbids series for Rabbids games articles (like this one) while keeping the Rayman series template for Rayman games articles. --Apolo13 (talk) 21:50, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

Really? Rabbids have been widely accused of causing the quality drop of the Rayman series by both Rayman fans and non-fans alike, yet not even a single mention of that in the reception section? Also, the fact that the section talks entirely about the characters' reception and ignores that of the series' games makes me hard to take this article seriously. - 190.227.254.66 (talk) 05:07, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Raving Rabbids → Rabbids
Looking at this article and the state of the franchise in 2021, it is quite clear to me that the English common name of the franchise is primarily known internationally as simply Rabbids. Raving Rabbids has fallen out of common use somewhat, even by Ubisoft themselves, but is fine as a redirect or as a term to refer to the phase where the franchise was transitioning from being a Rayman spinoff.
