to Euler-Wallis formula.

• Make some effort to justify this derivation, possibly using the PlanetMath article on the Weierstrass factorization theorem.

• Note how to use this formula to compute

$\sum _{n=1}^{\infty }{\frac {1}{n^{2}}}.$
