Companies
editI changed the absolute 'Black Thunder Mine is the largest' to a squishier 'Black Thunder Mine is one of the largest.' The North Antelope Rochelle Mine has surpassed Black Thunder's production in the past few years since the Antelope and Rochelle mines were consolidated. Black Thunder's consolidation with the Jacobs mine will put it back on top, but for how long? The squishy wording will hold up as the biggest mine war continues. People can check the US Energy Information Administration site for the latest production data.Bcworkz (talk) 17:04, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
Does anybody know the names of the mining companies operating in Powder River? I know there's Rio Tinto but who else? ~no name
Added companies I know of, now could someone check to see if mergers and aquisitions have made major changes? Brem1964 06:34, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
When did it start?
editWhen did PRB mining start? When did it expand due to demands caused by the Clean Air Act? --KJRehberg (talk) 18:37, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Improve coverage of "joint line" railroad at Logan Hill
editIn the "history" portion of Transportation, the article would benefit from a link regarding completion of the 4th main track at Logan Hill. Here's a good link on that project; see pages 4 and 5. Some rewriting is needed, and I regret that I don't have time to research and improve this. Will some other Wikipedian please do so? Oaklandguy (talk) 08:41, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
Petroleum
editThe section on Petroleum includes information to 2014, when fracking and horizontal drilling had engendered a boom in oil extraction. That has surely changed with the dramatic fall in oil prices. Would the author please bring this section up to date? KC 01:12, 8 February 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Boydstra (talk • contribs)
