"Spectral Line"

edit

This is linked to a page on chemistry (spectrometry). I imagine they mean spectral either in the sense like fishing line (i.e. transparent), or more specifically given the type of task it would be undertaking, they mean SPECTRA line, a name brand Dyneema as noted in https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Ultra-high-molecular-weight_polyethylene#Fiber. As a sailor, we use Spectra line as core or singlebraid as it has the breaking strength of steel or better. Even a thin spectra diameter would be able to hold a climber. Logically, therefore, I am suggesting a proper edit.

Payday 2 Collaboration

edit

Like John Wick, this film is also getting a Payday 2 collaboration featuring a character and heist. Linky Zero Serenity (talk - contributions) 22:04, 1 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Utah's name

edit

I think Johnny's last name is Brigham and his nickname is Utah. He says that his mother was from the Ute tribe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.2.15.167 (talk) 20:47, 26 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Development - Removing "like many other films."

edit

The last sentence of the first paragraph in the Development section ends with the phrase "like many other films.", and cites an article on Men's Journal as the source. This entire paragraph paraphrases quotes from the film's director in the cited article, not a fact attested to in the article. The way this paragraph is written seems to state that the cited article attributes the presented information as fact, instead of indicating that the information is the article's author quoting a third party.

It should be removed, as Men's Journal is not an accepted source for information on the subject of physics-defying films. The quote from the director is certainly acceptable as a source for information about how the director wanted to make the movie, but not on the state of adherence to physical laws in films. At worst, it should directly quote the article, and show that the phrase is itself a quote from that article.
