It seems to me that Nicodemus (Titian) is looking at Mary rather than at Christ. This struck me as particularly poignant when I saw the painting recently in L'Accademia. Check the eyelines. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Boygobbo (talk • contribs) 19:00, 12 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
