Actually, you probably shouldn't have mentioned. Primary sources aren't very favored on Wikipedia, and the fact that you say you know him personally discloses a potential Conflict of Interest. It is much better to find articles or books elsewhere that publish the information as secondary sources - if a secondary source is willing to publish it, then it will most likely meet the WP notability guideline.
