How is Minecraft an offline persistent world? At least in single player (the part that is controlled most by the game's creator) absolutely nothing happens while offline. 75.72.7.108 (talk) 22:29, 14 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

There are plenty of MMOs around where player actions have definite and persistent impacts on the world itself - EVE Online, for a start, where players can build space stations in previously unoccupied systems.
