Bot-created subpage
editA subpage at Percy Anderson/fjc was automatically created by a perl script, based on this article at the Biographical Directory of Federal Judges. The subpage should either be merged into this article, or moved and disambiguated. Polbot (talk) 12:30, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Percy Anderson → Percy Anderson (artist) – I can't see how this is PRIMARYTOPIC as opposed to Percy Anderson (judge). Here are the pageviews. In my opinion, there is no PRIMARY and so a DAB page should be created at the base name. Bait30 Talk 2 me pls? 11:52, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Oppose. However, if*Since* someone commits to change all the links to it in all the articles, I would withdraw this. Also, should it be (artist) or (designer)? -- Ssilvers (talk) 18:52, 25 August 2021 (UTC)- Support per nom, DAB at base name.--Ortizesp (talk) 23:34, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Provisional support, conditional on the mover's undertaking to make sure that all the links in the fifty-something articles that point here are changed to link to the retitled page. Otherwise oppose. I agree with Ssilvers that "designer" might be preferable to "artist". Tim riley talk 14:27, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nomination and Ortizesp. The artist/designer is not the primary topic. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:58, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Strong support the judge gets 32,434 and Anderson gets 871 compared with only 9,350 for this one. Crouch, Swale (talk) 09:51, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
Comment @Bait30, Ortizesp, Roman Spinner, and Crouch, Swale: do you have any opinion on artist vs designer? Also, @Ssilvers and Tim riley: disambiguating links to the disambiguation page created by such a move is actually exceptionally easy (see User:Qwertyytrewqqwerty/DisamAssist) and I'll happily take care of that. Only in cases of a primary topic swap would this complicate the matter and be an additional consideration. Lennart97 (talk) 13:42, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- No preference on artist and designer, although I reckon designer might make more sense since that seems to be what he's best known for.--Ortizesp (talk) 14:28, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- Not really though they appear to be better known as a designer as far as I can see. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:59, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- No preference. I figured artist was more generic term so I went with it in the nom just to be safe. Bait30 Talk 2 me pls? 22:05, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- Good. Happy with a move in that case. Designer would be decidedly preferable to artist. Tim riley talk 15:39, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- I also think designer is a better choice. -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:35, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
