Confusion over land taxes
editThe article appears to confuse land tax with Increment Value Duty. The latter was included in the budget as passed, and survived until 1920. See, for example, this from the National Archives, and the relevant section of the Finance Act. DuncanHill (talk) 13:45, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
