"emotional" speech
editCan the scare quotes be removed? For a NPOV, it either needs to be fleshed out who stated the speech was emotional or removed. At present, it comes across sarcastic, which leads to a lack of neutrality while reading the article. 2603:7080:9207:AD00:A1D3:785:7834:874D (talk) 21:56, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

Pauline Hanson's first son is inaccurately recorded as Anthony born in 1972. His actual full name is Tony and he was born in 1971. (Since I am married to him, I know this to be fact. Thanks.) 70.189.237.235 (talk) 18:52, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
- We need a reliable source to make changed. Please provide a published secondary source that proves this to be true and I will gladly make the change. Thank you. Nightenbelle (talk) 18:54, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Nightenbelle: Arguably, the entire first paragraph about Hanson's first two sons should be removed. There is no source currently cited for their names or the then-spouse's name; the Sydney Morning Herald article cited in the next paragraph[1] refers to the first spouse and two sons by aliases. Per BLP, I'm inclined to delete all three names from the paragraph. —C.Fred (talk) 20:02, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
- Go for it. As a Non-COI person you can make whatever changes you would like. I'm just not going to alter information based off the word of an IP who claims to be the subject's spouse. Anyone can claim anything online- source and I'll make the change. As for other things that should be removed- I didn't look at the article- just saw this as patrolling recent changes for vandalism. - I have been bold and simply followed our standard approach, and removed details of non-notable children. HiLo48 (talk) 02:52, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

Conspiracy theorist? Really?
editI think that we should remove Category:Australian conspiracy theorists from the list of categories on this page. I don't really think that Pauline Hanson is classified as a conspiracy theorist. 203.129.22.32 (talk) 08:50, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

Add federal court judge ruling (decided 1/11/24) to "Racism allegations" section.
A judge has ruled that One Nation leader Pauline Hanson racially discriminated against Deputy Greens leader Mehreen Faruqi in a tweet. Judge Stewart stated that the message in Pauline's tweet "is a variant of the slogan, “go back to where you came from” (T158:33). That slogan is a racist trope with a long history." and that "It carries with it historical anti-immigrant and nativist beliefs with roots, in Australia, that are traceable to the White Australia Policy."
