What is the source for him being commonly known as "Park Laurie"? It's such an unusual name. The Drover's Wife (talk) 10:26, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
- Being unusual is no reason to doubt its accuracy. Plenty of instances in newspaper reports, including BMD notices, a good test of naming convention:
- death of wife [1]
- birth of son [2]
- wedding guests: [3] etc. Doug butler (talk) 22:07, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, that checks out. I was suspicious because it sounds like a double-barrelled surname (in the sense of i.e. Wilfrid Kent Hughes) and period newspapers are sometimes a bit confusing about those but this is pretty clear. The Drover's Wife (talk) 06:10, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
