Wet
editif you google this knot you see that fishermen recommend to wet the line before tying the knot. not sure offhand how to encyclopedically add this idea, so I'm putting it here in the comments. There are a number of "Wet knots" in the world of fishing apparently, so I also added a comment here. 67.243.29.174 (talk) 16:36, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
