There are numerous Pallippurams in Kerala. This one feature of Kearala names, wherein the same place name is found for different places.

Trivia section

Is the trivia section needed on the page? It does not report any special achievement or feature of the place, I would suggest omitting it.

I've removed the trivia section. Right from the outset, I believed that this section was redundant and unnecessary. Thanks for the advice. I have not been doing it myself just because it was the work of another editor. Anil 00:42, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Historical facts and other information

This page about Pallippuram seems to be remarkably well created indeed. Let me give further suggestions on improving it.

Won't it be a good idea to trace back a little more into the history of Pallippuram and include the same as well?

Once Pallippuram was part of the "reconstituted" Valluvanad Taluk. At another point in time before that, it was also part of Nedunganad. This was when Nedunganad was under King Zamorins of Calicut (Samoothiri). It would be useful if we can dig into the history and specify the exact year / period pertaining to the above facts mentioned.

Isn't "Keralite" better or more appropriate as compared to "Keralan". Besides, I guess Perumthachan was a carpenter and sculptor as well.

In the "Economy" section, facts related to the bag industry at Pallippuram need to be added.

There is a lake named "Kolokkayal" spanning 24 acres near Parudur in Pallippuram owned by the Kumarampulakkal Namboothiri family.

Information about the recent refurbishment of the Pallippuram railway station and construction of new platform can be included. This was done in connection with the introduction of double track of railway between Mangalore and Shoranur. Although there are many places with the name 'Pallippuram' in Kerala, I think this is the only one with a railway station. In other words, if Pallippuram is referenced in Indian Railway map currently, it points to none other than this place!

There are many people editing this page, I am just one among them. My advice is you too can help wiki by adding information. If its difficult for you to edit the page keep commenting in this discussion page. Still thanks for the suggestions. I will try to improve the Page adding those facts. Reference and sources

I think all those editing this page are from the village itself. So its quite natural that they dont need any other source to get these information. Also its difficult to show internet links to show the references. I have got the details about the Panchayat directly from the Panchayat office and from other reliable sources.

So I request you to help me how to improve the article and remove those tags which makes the whole article unreliable.
