Don't merge

edit

It's very confusing when rivers don't have their own name, just as it is when the District and a city are not separate. The same confusion occurs when a temple is under the name of the town it is in instead of the temple's name. Mattisse(talk) 20:32, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Merge

edit

I went ahead and merged Palar and Palar River, as they both referred to exactly the same thing and both had almost exactly the same content. phoebe 05:27, 24 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Article content

edit

The article content mentions about an current issue related to the river in the main para...i suggest the issue can be mentioned in a seperate paragraph titled " Issues related to the river"...i do understand the depth of issue being dependent on it for drinking water supply.

Also ponnaiyar(south pennar) is not tributory of palar...we would strive to maintain the neutrality of the article...so try an disinterested approach and please avoid mentioning the contributor's name in the article..thanks--Prakt 16:56, 11 June 2007 (UTC)praktReply

There is a lot of material which is unreferenced in the article. If whoever has added is not going to provide reference in a reasonable time, I am going to delete it. Docku (talk) 02:37, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
