Just because these teams have played a lot, it does not make this a "rivalry" game. For Memphis fans, it is just one more nonconfernce game on the schedule. The only significance is that the teams are geographically close, but that's it. I'm sure it's a big game for ASU fans, just like when they get the rare opportunity to play Arkansas or some other big school.
