Should we include a section on Make Over by Christina Aguilera?
editA section from Stripped (Christina Aguilera album)
Songwriting issue "Make Over" became the subject of controversy in the UK when critics commented on its similarity to a 2000 Sugababes' single called "Overload".[19] When Stripped was originally released, Aguilera and Linda Perry were listed as the song's writers. Some time later ASCAP also gave additional credits to Sugababes writers Jonathan Lipsey, Felix Howard, Cameron McVey, and Paul Simm. The link was never publicly admitted, but "Make Over" was removed from the track listing of Aguilera's subsequent DVD, Stripped Live in the UK.[19]

Orphaned references in Overload (Sugababes song)
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Overload (Sugababes song)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 11:14, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
I can't put this into the article because WP would call it 'original research', but....
edit....felix howard is one of the sons of roy harper. he was playing bass in a band called 'panico' when I knew him, & left to pursue this writing career. anyway, just leaving that here in case anyone's curious. duncanrmi (talk) 21:03, 24 May 2016 (UTC)
White Rabbit sample?
editIt seems clear that this song is either using a sample of (or has recreated) the bass line from White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane (more specifically, Grace Slick) but it's not mentioned anywhere? To be fair, at a glance I couldn't find an official source to confirm this apart from this article and a some (user submitted) references on sampling websites.

Thought it was at least worth mentioning here if not in the main post. BrotherEstapol (talk) 03:10, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
