traffic
editAbout a month ago, when I & the wife were driving to the beach, we were caught in some nasty traffic jams on Highway 18 -- it took us 25 minutes to drive the last 7 miles to Lincoln City!
During this slow crawl, we passed thru Otis. Even at that speed, we were thru the community in about 5 minutes. But it was slow enough to notice a sign between the highway & the parking lot of Otis that read: "Welcome to downtown Otis."
I didn't have my camera at the time, but I believe a picture of that sign, with the 3 or 4 buildings of "downtown" Otis in the background, deserves to be in Wikipedia. Anyone else in Oregon interested in providing it? -- llywrch 23:04, 15 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- I go down to Otis a couple times a year. I'll try to get a picture when I can. DanKeshet 04:09, Jan 16, 2005 (UTC)
