Slyvia (Julian's mother)

edit

Is her last name actually Baker? I don't know if the characters got married so it might be best just to call her Slyvia for the time being. Thoughts? Jayy008 (talk) 18:15, 18 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

User confirmed for me. Jayy008 (talk) 20:42, 13 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

22 episode pick-up?

edit

Sourced to imdb that 'since then' a 22 episode pick up has occurred.

I thought that according to policy, imbd was not a reliable source; and secondly I have seen this nowhere else, not on any of the respectable fan sites, not on the CW, or any of the news for OTH.

Can someone please resolve this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.86.42.125 (talk) 22:23, 16 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

The CW will not post that on the website. The only way you see full episode lists on The CW is a week before the season finishes. Can you point me to where it says IMDB isn't reliable? If it isn't, I'll remove it. It should be announced in a press release within the next week anyway. Jayy008 (talk) 23:52, 16 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Don't worry, then; I've just seen the press release.

Yeah, I know, but this was ages after IMDB. IMDB isn't reliable, I found it; just thought I'd let you. Jayy008 (talk) 18:41, 23 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Cast

edit

Has Jana Kramer left the show? I mean, she's been written out, but she's still on the credits. Jayy008 (talk) 18:14, 23 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

With the full season pick-up she'll probably be on later on in the season.

That's speculation, I'm going to add a bracket (Episodes 1-5). Jayy008 (talk) 18:42, 23 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

What about Stephan Coletti joining the regular cast as Chase? Is it confirmed or what? Nasirakd (talk) 18:20, 8 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Only fan sites and spoiler sites have confirmed it, to add it we need a reliable source. Either way we can't move him to the "regular" section until the back-nine. Jayy008 (talk) 19:37, 8 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hurricane

edit

I do not think that the hurricane should be listed on this page, despite having a source; it is still a major spoiler. Already removed it once but was reverted 109.175.211.36 (talk) 03:13, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's notable. Reliably sourced. It doesn't matter if it's a spoiler, a lot of things on TV pages can be deemed spoilers. But if people don't want spoilers, they don't come to an online Encyclopedia to read about the show. Jayy008 (talk) 14:19, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

That wasn't my intention. If I come across agressive, I apologize. But my point is, that's what the page is for, if somebody doesn't want to read spoilers, they shouldn't read it. Jayy008 (talk) 17:21, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

CW Schedule

edit

The CW have just published their schedule up until May 17th - providing names of all episodes of One Tree Hill until then. Someone needs to change the names and provide a citation, I think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.86.42.125 (talk) 20:43, 1 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Checking against GA criteria

edit
GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose):   b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
The CW officially renewed One Tree Hill for an eighth season on May 18, 2010, with a 13-episode order. The season premiered on September 14, 2010 and airs in its new timeslot, Tuesdays at 8/7c. After successful ratings for the early episodes of the season, the network ordered a back-order of nine episodes, bringing the total episode count to 22. Inconsistency in tenses.
Season 8 features the return of the original opening credits and the original opening theme song "I Don't Want to Be" covered by various artists each week, while the original version is featured sporadically. Schwahn wrote 13 out of the 22 episodes, including the final 6 episodes of the season. This should surely be all past tense. Schawhn should be wikilinked or at least explained.
After being shot and left for dead by the Katie Ryan, both Clay and Quinn fight for their lives while they have an out of body experience of being at the beach. oh really this is illiterate. Quickfail on grounds of extremely poor prose, get it copy-edited into good plain English, get a peer review an then consider renominating. Jezhotwells (talk) 00:48, 30 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
Quickfail on grounds of illiterate prose. And the fact that lists do not qualify for GAN. Jezhotwells (talk) 00:48, 30 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
