This is a good summary of the existing literature. I'm impressed by all the data tables and citations. However, from a factual standpoint, many of the lexical comparisons are dubious. Many are verbs that are evidently of onomatopoeic origin and are widespread areal forms found all over Southeast Asia. Lingnanhua (talk) 23:45, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
