Mark Twain

edit

Is this the right place for Mark Twain's quotation: “I came in with Halley's Comet in 1835. It is coming again next year, and I expect to go out with it. It will be the greatest disappointment of my life if I don't go out with Halley's Comet. The Almighty has said, no doubt: "Now here are these two unaccountable freaks; they came in together, they must go out together.” - And they did.Kdammers (talk) 01:15, 6 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ineligible

  • ... that comets have water in them?
    • ALT1:... that ...? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)

5x expanded by Spooky31 (talk). Self-nominated at 22:10, 14 November 2020 (UTC).Reply

  •   Sorry, Spooky31 but it's not eligible. Prior to your edits (even allowing some extra time beyond the seven day limit), it was 22587 prose characters, and it's currently 25163. (You may determine the prose size using WP:DYKcheck.) It's extremely unlikely that it could be expanded by the required five times. If you get the article to good article status, you may resubmit within a week of that designation. Please see WP:DYK for general information. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 09:38, 18 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
