Why redirect here?

edit

Why does ny (digraph) redirect here? The NY digraph is certainly not restricted to Hungarian and never has been. Redirecting here will discourage users from adding discussions of this digraph's use in other languages - can we remove it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pmcanena (talkcontribs) 14:15, 14 December 2006 (UTC).Reply

You were right, it's just what I had also wanted to do. :-) --Adolar von Csobánka (Talk) 22:04, 23 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

How do you say "Ny (digraph)" when reading aloud?

edit

I need help pronouncing the name of this digraph in English. Is it pronounced "en why digraph"? "Nyah digraph"? Can someone include the answer in the first paragraph of the article? In the meantime, I'll call it the "N Y" digraph. DBlomgren (talk) 07:32, 22 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Generally all digraphs are spelled out (ess-aitch, tee-aitch, en-gee, etc), so it's the en-wy digraph. — kwami (talk) 23:31, 24 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
