Misplaced!
editI am afraid that the coordinates are way off, in some mountain. Try 29°33'14.47" 90°57'55.71" Somewhere north of the road should be the temple.
According to [1] "Driving from Gonggar Aiport to Lhasa, one reaches an area of flat land in Nyetang, approximately 20 km away from the holy city. North of the highway is a small monastery which houses the statue of Zhomalhakang Tara. … Near the monastery was a dagoba which serves as the tomb for some of Adixa's bones. … To the east and not far from the monastery is a carved rock statue of the Nyetang Buddha, another favorite site with visitors to the Lhasa are."
I think the big red and blue Buddah is at 29°33'52.62" 90°59'36.68", see pictures. The temple should be geotagged by someone having been there, as well as the Nyetang "center" please. Fritz Jörn (talk) 11:13, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
