Merger proposal
editThe two articles North Eastern Council and North-Eastern Zonal Council should be merged as they both mean the same institution. This is defined by the same official site http://necouncil.gov.in/ RenZutↂ 17:12, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
- I agree based on this. Though lead text (based on this unacceptable source) of North-Eastern Zonal Council) says, "Five Zonal Councils were set up vide Part-III of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956. The North Eastern States' special problems are addressed by another statutory body, the North Eastern Council, created by the North Eastern Council Act, 1971." Better to merge. If these turn out to be two different things then make it clear within the article. There is more overlap, and little difference (if any). Thanks. 202.156.182.84 (talk) 12:04, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
