Song vs. Record of the Year?

edit

The first paragraph contained this sentence: " TLC got their second Grammy nomination for Record of the Year but lost again, this time to "Smooth".' "Smooth" being a song, I've changed the sentence to say "Song of the Year." If this is wrong, please let me know, change it, or both. Jessicapierce 17:01, 29 March 2007 (UTC)<brReply

I changed it back. The Record of the Year is awarded for outstanding singles, while Song of the Year is awarded for songwriting. This CNN article [[[1]]] lists the nominations for the 2000 Grammies.--ProfessorFokker 00:22, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Tlc-noscubs2.jpg

edit

Image:Tlc-noscubs2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Can someone help me restore the left margin on the bottom sections?

edit

I was trying to fix the "Chart progressions" table, and while I apparently succeeded in that, the action for some reason moved the succeeding sections directly under the table. I'm currently unable to restore the left margin for those sections. Help?! Rontrigger (talk) 19:45, 21 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

What does it mean?

What kind of Scrubs are meant by the title? Shouldn't there be an explanation or a link? --Österreicher (talk) 21:05, 20 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

I added an explanation to the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1014:B110:C6E4:7918:33C8:24A7:A0F9 (talk) 06:02, 14 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

This seems to be urban street slang for an undesirable guy. The lyrics even define it if you listen. It's someone the speaker has no love for, who's likely down and out, desperate for female attention, etc. as evidenced by, "...hanging out the passenger side of his best friend's ride, trying to holler at me." So why isn't he in his own car, and why isn't he seated and acting civilized? So he might not have a car, and hasn't been around ladies for so long that he doesn't know how to act. I really wish more about the inspiration of this song, what the group thinks of it, and other musical background information had been added.68.67.254.133 (talk) 03:31, 8 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
