Talk:Nimbus program

What is the operational status of these satellites? The decay date for Nimbus 5 - 7 is left blank - I take it these are still in orbit? Nimbus 7 certainly seems to still be sending back data as of March 2012:

NSIDC

edit

The National Snow and Ice Data Center is NSIDC, not NDISC. I refuse to edit Wikipedia anymore, so I won't fix it myself, but if anyone else is interested, there you are. SimpsonDG (talk) 21:37, 6 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Operational History

edit

Wrong. Nimbus 1 is the only satellite that has decayed. Nimbus 2-7 are still in orbit. I'll let somebody else fix this, or else just leave the errors in place. SimpsonDG (talk) 15:12, 22 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Project Nimbus

edit

Don't we need to add a Wikipedia article on the Project Nimbus, which many Google and Amazon workers are objecting to? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 02:50, 14 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
