Challenging the low importance rating within WikiProject Bulgaria
editAccording to the article on Lyubomir Ivanov, the Nikola Obreshkov Prize is the "highest Bulgarian award in mathematics". There is also a math and science high school in Kazanlak named after him. Under the variant spelling "Obreschkoff", he shows up in a number of mathematical theorems and results, of which only the Obreschkoff–Ostrowski theorem is mentioned, but nothing for example on the Hermite-Obreschkoff methods for solving ordinary differential equations.
I propose that this article be reclassified to at least medium importance, and that proper attention be given to it so it graduates from its current stub version. There appears to be plenty of useful information in both the Bulgarian- and German-language articles that can be added here. I would do it myself, but I don't have a background in mathematics - I gleaned the importance of Obreshkov purely from searches in Google and Wikipedia.
