editIs it Journal American or Journal-American? Article name says one thing while the lead says the other. Which is correct? TheHYPO (talk) 02:31, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, the Hearst article hyphenates it. Wildhartlivie (talk) 03:07, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Improved chronology
editin the paragraph about the Journal American participating in a lockout during a strike. All the New York papers including Times reported that in October 1965.UCLA Young Research Library (talk) 01:27, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
Removed word "exclusively"
editfrom paragraph about columnist Phyllis Battelle writing four-part article on the Beatles. Here at Young Research Library at UCLA I checked the Hearst paper that was in Los Angeles in 1965 and found same article there on the same four days. So changed that sentence a little.
Moved sentence about famous "Journal American photo"
editto earlier part of the article because there's no way to include that sentence in my new version of the paragraph about the University of Texas holding the photo archive. Fixed that paragraph because it contradicted itself. First the paragraph said the Hearst corporation destroyed the photographs. Then it said the University of Texas has the photographs. All in all, it should be better now. If you can propose a better way to fix it, please do.UCLA Young Research Library (talk) 01:25, 24 June 2010 (UTC)UCLA Young Research Library (talk) 01:26, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
