Dating problems
editThe article does a good job by explaining different arguments for the dating of the Neiye, but then goes on to accept one of those possitions as correct. There is simply no certainty that the text reached its current form in the 4th century.
That also makes dubious the repeated claims that the Neiye influenced the Daodejing and the Zhuang, who are dated "3rd-century BCE Daodejing and the c. 3rd/2nd-century BCE Zhuangzi." Those dates are not facts, and the Guodian Daodejing shows that at least significant parts of the text are 4th century, so How is it possible to assert that Neiye influenced DDJ and not the other way?
The article should leave open any decision on definitive dating and any assertion of influences, just present the similarities. 190.122.53.235 (talk) 14:49, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
