References in the article

edit

At least some of the references in this article (apart from being in the wrong format) are attributed wrongly, i.e. the numbers don't tie up. Probably needs an expert to sort this out... Smalljim 10:29, 24 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have to agree that the references have been done out of format and confusing. I tagged the article with a cleanup tag; I don't have time to do it right now. Matt.leeck (talk) 00:19, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Internal infections???

edit

I would REALLY appreciate some information on possible internal infections caused by use of (washed) kitchen utensils in cleaning infected fish tank supplies. 172.191.235.97 00:41, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

plagarism?

edit

" ... as M. marinum is a very common atypical mycobacterium causing skin infection (70). " The (70) at the end of this sentence looks like an inline citation to reference number 70 - suggesting that the sentence has been pasted. I haven't found the source. Seventy references would be many for an article - suggesting that the source may be a book. Aa77zz (talk) 17:34, 4 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I've looked at the history and now understand - self plagarism. The article was started by a Pieter Stragier (Pstragier) using his Master's Thesis. Reference 70 was: Wolinsky, E. 1992. Mycobacterial diseases other than tuberculosis . Clin Inf Dis 15:1-12. Aa77zz (talk) 17:52, 4 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
