I'm not positive when Hess started using a rewritten version as their jingle, but they've been using it for well over a decade and may have been using it since the song was new. It would seem highly unlikely that Hess has been using the jingle since 1963, when the song came out. I would even doubt that Hess has been even selling the toy for that long. Where was he?

External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on My Boyfriend's Back (song). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20090816080717/http://bobshannon.com:80/stories/Boyfriend.html to http://www.bobshannon.com/stories/Boyfriend.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
