A quick tally of the 37 sources used in the article show that there is a 28:7 ratio of use of "Mary-Ann" vs "Mary Ann" (and 2 sources without mention). Even with a slight skew towards the BBC formatting (1 in 5 sources are BBC) there seems to be a tend towards "Mary-Ann" being the WP:COMMONNAME. I have moved the article with this in mind. It may be worth noting that Leneghan's headstone is MARYANN (no space, no hyphen) so this may be the name used by the family. An {{efn}} has been added to this effect. The fact that the bullet was not fatal is variously said to have been caused by being a hollow, foil bullet or that it was fired by an air gun. Air guns are less powerful than fire arms which use black powder or modern smokeless powder. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.77.163.188 (talk) 11:25, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
