Unencyclopedic writing
editPlease avoid using boastful tones and words when writing this or any article.
- Avoid turning this into a link page as well. There is no need to refer to external links (outside of Wikipedia) not directly related to the subject in the article.Akosikenn (talk) 18:18, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think the "Places of Interest" list/section is appropriate for this article. It is mostly subjective and redundant since it was already mentioned in another section. I grew up in Muntinlupa and when I visit I do like to check out the new things happening in the city, new schools, new buildings, etc but that doesn't mean any of those places are worth mentioning in an encylopedia, even an online one. I am replacing it with a new section titled "Historical Landmarks" instead which will be based on Muntinlupa City's official list of landmarks. Akosikenn (talk) 16:11, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
Subdivisions versus Townhomes
editIf we are to put a list in here, I am sure we can agree that there has to be limitations or definitions, otherwise our lists can become pretty big. The list of subdivisions/villages should not include townhomes even if the townhome is huge. Townhomes cover a smaller land area, property is in general defined by the building itself and the maintenance of the area is (or usually is) covered by a private firm. On the other hand subdivision lands are larger, property is generally defined in lot sizes and maintenance is generally public and the responsibility of the local barangay. Feel free to voice any disagreements here.Akosikenn (talk) 16:11, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
Emerald City of the Philippines
editI’m curious as to how the city was able to earn this title.
- I was able to draw up three sources for this.
- (1) The city's medium term development plan for the year 2000-2004;
- (2) The about page of the city logo; and,
- (3) The Urban Dictionary definition of emerald city. Like everything else, we compared local stuff with foreign ones by adding "of the Philippines" to the end. --Aeon17x 14:01, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
- I think the 3rd source is plausible as the term seem to have originated from the Dept of Tourism. I could find no references to this title on the web as well except that it was mentioned by tourism websites.Akosikenn (talk) 18:00, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

request from the people of sicatville, rmt, tunasan,muntinlupa city
editIn behalf of the whole people residing at sicatville compound, we would like to express our feelings, demands thru this link. This is address to our Mayor Aldrin San Pedro and the whole city government. As we all know that the place we are living is not permissible,,, but then we are trying to survive throughout the years we've stayed there.Every year, we are suffering from flood from a miniature rainfall and walking almost everyday an uneven/bumpy and muddy road.Our main concern on this matter is our children studying outside the compound. In this connection, we would like to request for the concreting of road from the entrance gate of the compound going to the three (3) streets of the entire sicatville. Or even asphalt only sir...Please Mayor San Pedro. Hope for your consideration on this matter. <Cityname> <City>
edit
There is a discussion regarding the removal of the word "city" from the article names of Philippine cities. This may imminently affect the article name for Muntinlupa. For city names which are not unique, disambiguation alternatives are also being presented. Formal request for page move may follow after a reasonable time of discussion. If you wish to participate, please post your comments here. --JinJian (talk) 03:59, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

Fixing the "Education" topic.
editI am still uncertain on the number of educational institutions in the Education topic. Are there users having information on the schools on the whole city of Muntinlupa? If you have, place a note on my talk page.--TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 04:47, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
